Updates!!!
So I am finally here, and almost settled, and the website needs a lot of work, but when school starts time will be strained.
From the beginning.....My flight left San Fran at around 4:30 PM and my parents and Has were there to see me off. The night before, we had a wonderful BBQ at my house, and that was followed by a rare visit to the bowling alley.

The flight was fairly smooth and we arrived in London just after 10 AM GMT, and I was tired, to say the least, but I managed to stay awake until 8 PM or so. When I reached my dormitory via train and taxi, my room was not yet ready for my intrusion, so I had to read a bad English paper for an 1 hour and 1/2.

At around 2 PM or so, I went down to the dorm pub not for beer but tea. Yes, the Hall Council had organized an afternoon tea session which was bloody lovely. At that moment, my trip to the United Nations began.

As this website moves ahead, you will meet these people, but to briefly note as many as I can remember: I have met people from England, Wales, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Romania, Cyprus, Greece, Russia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Hong Kong, Toronto, Houston, Kansas and Chicago. Out of breath? Well, I haven't met everyone yet.

more to come....

And then yesterday I woke at 5AM, further proving my jetlag, and I read for a few hours before meeting for a morning tour of London with my dorm.
We walked south to the Thames, and along the river to London Bridge, then on to the London Eye, which is the largest Ferris Wheel in the world (see picture). Then we strolled to Covent Garden via Big Ben and the City of Westminster. And finally, after we viewed the pigeons of Trafalgar Square (nasty birds), we ate lunch at a traditional English pub (no I didn't have Fish 'N Chips and so far I have yet to try the dish).

After that long walk, I took a long nap, and awoke for dinner around 6:30 or so. The event of the night (this is Fresher's week after all) was a pub crawl, which really needs no description.
